I often save my bills from the first lap to use on the second lap, so to try avoid lightning. Of course, prediction is the key here. The same also applies to my use of stars. Moreover, it is good to use bills in shortcuts, which they would otherwise pass by. For example, the Delfino Square alley shortcut.
